Irrigation Leader magazine, is sponsoring our 11th annual “Irrigation Leaders Workshop”. This year’s theme “Employment Pipeline” will focus on employee hiring, retention, and succession planning, with emphasis on competitive wages, benefits, and training for employees, including management. Water rates and other fees, as well as alternative revenue streams will also be discussed. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for irrigation district managers and directors to exchange ideas and information on a variety of district operations and management-related issues, and to build out-of-state working relationships.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix-Chandler Golf Resort, located at 1 San Marcos Place, Chandler, Arizona 85225. The rate is $189.00 per night plus tax of 11.67%, plus a $7.50 Historic Preservation Fee. A Daily Resort Fee of $10.00 will be charged (reduced from $20.00) and includes 2 - $5.00 drink cards for the 1912 Lounge, 24-hour access to the fitness center, phone calls, self-parking, 2 bottled waters (replenished daily), 15% off published rates at the San Marcos Golf Course, if booked up to 30 days in advance through the golf course directly, and a 10% discount on Vaya Salon Services and Massage, (located on site).

EVENT REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

All registration change, substitution, cancellation, or refund requests must be made in writing to admin@waterstrategies.com. Substitution requests will be accepted at any time up to the commencement of the event. Other change or cancellation requests will be honored up to 12:00 midnight on the conference facility cutoff date. Valid cancellation requests will receive a refund of any registration fees paid minus a $75 processing charge. Refund requests made after the cutoff date will not be accepted. Registrants who fail to attend the event, in part or in whole, are not eligible for a refund and will be billed for any balance due.
